Banned authors and books in elementary schools.

In an eighth grade classroom in Burlingham the book Kaffir Boy was banned from the curriculum. A parent was not pleased with the choice of reading and the book was immediately pulled. This raised the question of "Is it right to be pulling books that bring educational purposes. At what age is it okay to be reading these books. Author of Kaffir Boy came to the school five weeks later to talk about the banning of his book. Along with this book is many other books that ar being challenged in classrooms.
